In Swiss Cinemas from August 8th

For the first time in Switzerland Cinedrome brings you a new Hindi film on the same day as it opens in India!

Koi... Mil Gaya is the most eagerly awaited Bollywood film of the year. It is promoted as Bollywood's answer to "E.T." and "Forrest Gump". Koi... Mil Gaya is indeed the first major Hindi film which features Hollywood quality science-fiction elements. Made by the team who produced the very successful Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, supported by Rekha. The filmmakers have spared no expense to offer state-of-the-art visual effects, which have been created by American (computer effects) and Australian (animatronics) specialists.

Roshan plays Rohit, a 11 year old in the body of an adult, son of a scientist who is obsessed with finding extra-terrestrial life. Preity Zinta portrays Nisha, Rohit's only friend of his age. Long after Rohit's father died in a tragic accident, Rohit and Nisha re-activate his old computers, which has a much wider impact than they anticipated. Who will they find after a space ship lands in Rohit's town?

In the current troubled times, where most Hindi films flop and insecurity spreads in Bollywood as to what the public will embrace or reject, all eyes are on this film. With a budget of over 8 million dollars, the untested science-fiction elements and a hero that does not follow the standard path, the risks are considerable. Will the film succeed? Find out at one of our screenings!

Please don't buy pirated VHS tapes, VCDs or DVDs of Bollywood movies. The picture and sound quality of those copies (even the pirated DVDs) are often awful. Only buy the official DVDs to support future distribution of Bollywood films in Switzerland and the production of good quality Bollywood films and DVDs. Original Bollywood-DVDs are generally shrink-wrapped and have a hologram sticker on the front cover.
