Scenery disc showing Cherry Blossoms around Japan in full bloom set to calm background music.

Run like hell !  I swear the picture looks like it was shot on an NTSC camera (Betacam maybe) and upconverted.  The picture is absolutely dreadful, especially in comparison to other MUSE Hi-Vision discs.

The picture is so soft there is virtually little discernable detail present.  The colors appear very muted and desaturated, very much like the poor looking NTSC system.

Compression artifacts are present (probably because the picture is so soft) and appear as both the grainy noise and mosquito syndrome.

I couldn’t even concentrate on the sound because I was so appalled at the picture.  Nevertheless, the sound was nothing memorable so I don’t have much to say.

Stay away from this disc.  It’s not even worth $10
